Dr. Marcus Neff is a native of Southeast Idaho. He grew up in the little farming area of Wapello just north of Blackfoot. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in zoology from Idaho State University and attended dental school at Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he received the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery. He practiced in a solo practice in Idaho Falls for 11 years before joining Health West.
Dr. Neff is married and has four children, a boy and three girls. Dr. Neff loves living in southeast Idaho. He loves spending time outdoors—camping and enjoying the beautiful surroundings we have in our state. He also loves being outside working in his yard and garden. Dr. Neff is a published author. He co-wrote a book for prospective dentists and dental students titled “So You Want to Be a Dentist”. Dr. Neff is also passionate about the latest advances in dentistry and has received extensive training in restorative dentistry and the use of technology in making beautiful smiles.
Andrea has lived in Blackfoot Idaho for 21 years. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene, in 2010, at Idaho State University. Andrea worked in private practice and at a community health dental clinic prior to joining the dental team at Health West. Andrea has over 15 years of experience in the dental field as she worked as a dental assistant for 8 years prior to graduating from the Dental Hygiene Program.
Andrea has received advanced training and certification to administer local anesthetics, nitrous oxide sedation and the treatment of medically compromised patients. Andrea caries the extended access to care endorsement on her license which allows her to provide a multitude of services to her patients at Health West. She loves working with individuals that have dental anxiety or special needs. Her attention to detail, conscientiousness and gentle manner are most appreciated by her patients.
Andrea is passionate about providing quality oral health care, patient education, and volunteering in the community. She prides herself in staying current with the latest research in periodontal disease and preventative oral health care. Her professionalism and commitment is noticeably reflected in her positive attitude and delivery of care. Outside of work Andrea enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys.
Kelsey was born and raised in Pocatello, Idaho. She obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2012 from Idaho State University.
Kelsey worked for a private practice for 3 years prior to joining the dental team at Health West. She received advanced training and certification to administer local anesthetics, nitrous oxide sedation, and the treatment of medically compromised patients. Kelsey strives to stay current with the latest research in periodontal disease and preventative oral health care.
Kelsey enjoys building personal relationships with her patients that are centers around educating and motivating them towards an optimum state of oral health. She considers the comfort and health of her patients as her first priority, while focusing on preventative dental therapy.
Outside of dentistry, Kelsey enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and being outdoors.
